Website of the Arya Sanghata Sutra

Korean Translation

The Arya Sanghata Sutra was translated into Korean and given the title "Bulseol daejibhui jeongbeop - gyeong."

While this sutra is not yet available for direct download from this site, it can be retrieved from the Korean-language site of the Electronic Buddhist Text Institute (EBTI Korea) at Dongguk University. You will need to follow instructions in Korean in order to retrieve sutras from this site.

The Arya Sanghāta Sutra has been made input in Korean as part of a major undertaking by EBTI Korea, a research institute whose major aim is to digitize Buddhist documents and construct Buddhist digital libraries. The Dongkuk Sutra Translation Center translated the "Koryo Tripitaka," and EBTI Korea and the Dongkuk Sutra Translation Center have cooperated to make it available online, with the support of Dongkuk University and the Korean Government, and researchers in unversity's computer engineering department. EBTI Korea is directed by Professor Tae Shik Han (Ven. Bo Kwang Sunim) and was established in 1997. For more information about this important project, click here.
